John Scherer, a financial executive with over 40 years’ experience, is a recognized pro-active leader, creative problem solver and change agent. Throughout his career, he has leveraged his strategic, finance, management and organizational skills to significantly improve companies. His passion is working with key management to streamline processes, enhance the bottom line and create value for all stakeholders.
 
John has worked with numerous companies and various industries in CFO capacities. His experience ranges from small, privately held companies to large, publicly traded ones. During his tenure as CFO of Nash Finch Company, sales grew from $2.8 billion to $4.2 billion (46%). His first year as Vice President and CFO of Strategic Equipment and Supply Company both sales and EBITDA grew over 10%. He has served as both an engagement CFO Partner and Arizona Managing Partner of Tatum, a national professional services company. Today, he is founder and President of Scherer Strategic Solutions, LLC, a firm specializing in CFO consulting, strategic and financial planning, market re-positioning and business development.
